Activism Journey
Yoseph Haddad's journey focuses on promoting peace and coexistence through dialogue and understanding.
Yoseph's journey is a compelling narrative of courage and transformation. Born in 1985 in Haifa to an Orthodox Christian Arab family, he moved to Nazareth at the age of three. At 18, driven by a desire to serve his country, he volunteered for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), joining the esteemed Golani Brigade. During the Second Lebanon War in 2006, Yoseph was severely injured by a Hezbollah missile, resulting in the loss of his leg and injuries to other parts of his body. After extensive rehabilitation, his leg was reattached, allowing him to resume activities like playing soccer.
